Hi, I’m Chiara, a UK model with 15+ years experience and I’m happy & excited to finally be able to offer tethered remote shoots to photographers across the globe.

I’m leggy, toned, naturally olive-skinned, patient, chatty, approachable.. I also work in the industry as a photographer with 6 years experience, and a retoucher (and retouching tutor) but I appreciate that when I am booked as a model, a model I shall be (unless help & guidance during any shoot is required by you then of course I am happy to help or suggest ideas)

My look is pretty versatile! I can do make-up and hair to a super high standard and am not afraid to go big or wild! I have a cute wavy shoulder-length hairstyle now after losing all my hair 1-2 years ago from chemotherapy (all fine now) and because of this, I have absolutely every single wig style and colour under the sun! Feathers, beads, flowers, headdresses, clips, a tonne of jewellery, shoes, boots, sheer stuff, fashion stuff, bohemian style and a well-kept body with smooth, clear skin for nude work.

LET'S TALK ABOUT CAMERA SOFTWARE, PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT, PHOTOGRAPHIC SETS, THE PROCESS OF REMOTE SHOOTING & HOW YOU AS THE PHOTOGRAPHER RETAIN COMPLETE CONTROL

My set-up

There are many reasons to remote shoot - the most obvious from the previous year is finding yourself in the middle of a pandemic yet having the option to continue shooting 100% safely from the comfort of your home, wherever you are in the world - but it opens up huge possibilities long into the future to break travel & convenience barriers and create beautiful imagery with no restriction. I think this is mind-blowing!

What equipment do you need?

You as the photographer need a computer, a wifi connection, screen-sharing software such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer & a phone

What equipment do I have?

I have a full-frame Nikon D850 camera and have the following lenses available:

Nikkor 16-35mm f4 zoom lens
Nikkor 35mm f2 prime lens
Nikkor 50mm f1.4 prime lens
Nikkor 85mm f1.8 prime lens
Nikkor 80-200mm f2.8 zoom lens

I also have a Godox AD360 flash plus battery pack and the modifiers for the Godox include the following:

Small octabox with optional grid
Small beauty dish with optional diffuser & grid
Snoot with optional grid

I also have a pop-up ring flash for a speedlight, (can be positioned directly on camera lens) several speed lights & triggers, a Pixapro LED 308D dimmable constant light, a couple of normal-sized circular reflectors, one large 2m x 1.5m reflector and coloured gels in various colours.

I have all the necessary light stands, tripod, grip equipment, SD cards & plenty of Nikon batteries too..

The computer software I use for remote shooting is Digicam Control and you would be able to control my computer-tethered camera including changing the settings, focus and of course pressing the shutter, all through my computer via this software and a screen-sharing app where you would be able to see and take complete control of my screen (I use Any Desk, but happy to install any other you may already use or prefer)
I take direction well and we would of course communicate through a phone or video call too for as much of a 1-2-1 experience as possible. I like to think I am friendly and approachable, creative and good at bringing your ideas to life.
The high quality RAW photos are 100% yours with you retaining full copyright and will be sent immediately after the shoot via Dropbox or WeTransfer - a RAW file from my camera is typically 50MB - these are huge files and so it will usually take several hours for all the images to upload to a folder which can then be shared with you, so please do be patient.

I have a few various spaces to shoot from during the winter months and many more in the summer months when I will have a large bohemian bell tent kitted out with bedroom furniture & accessories in the garden, alongside a hot tub, gazebo, an old wooden summer house with lanterns, cushions, beautiful sweeping Indian fabrics, a hammock..
In the front garden is a more permanent structure which can be used in winter months - it’s a caravan decorated in a floral vintage / bohemian style.. more cushions, lanterns - a real unique space with a large wooden veranda with spindles and steps immediately outside with huge possibilities to style in many different ways. I also have a cute swing seat, a fish pond and I am currently building a brand new set which will have the structural design of a car port, against a rendered painted wall with a transparent roof to diffuse sunlight - I also plan to fill this with various bits of outdoor furniture and props and am very excited about it!
Indoors, I have one room to shoot from, but it is really quite versatile. It has a white wall, a wooden floor and I have some backdrops to change it up a little. It contains a large mirror, a drop-leaf table, and a huge super king bed which actually makes a great base to build more sets. I have an absolute tonne of materials and props, chairs, beanbags, lamps, lightbulbs on a string, rugs, tea sets. all kinds of bits & bobs, and if we discuss your ideas and / or a mood board, I will work at putting together sets which are truly unique to our shoot and in line with your ideas to bring them to life. Please bear in mind I will need a little notice before our shoot to source relevant bits and put these things together. Moodboards are encouraged, but not essential.

Here are some images of my current sets and spaces to shoot, many props which can be moved & rearranged to create a truly unique space. There will be other sets added as spring approaches and the weather starts to get warm enough for me to build more elaborate bohemian spaces - it's my passion!

2, 3 and 4 hour sessions are available, (longer if you require) and time starts from when we’re ready to connect the camera to the software and you get access to my screen, after a short discussion.

I am happy to provide an invoice or receipt of payment and I have a disclaimer to confirm when a remote shoot is booked with me that no external recording of the screen (stills or video) is allowed under any circumstances, and that only the shots from my camera taken during the remote shoot have my consent to be taken or distributed. This also includes a disclaimer that I will not use or distribute any photos taken without your permission. By booking a remote shoot with me, we will automatically consent to these commitments.
